Global NOC Redesign: Old home page
The old home page was visually confusing and contained no marketing information beyond what appeared on the home page.

Global NOC Redesign: New home page
We spruced up the GNOC logo and created a much more sophisticated design in keeping with industry standards and GNOC's own level of expertise. A strong marketing statement is repeated throughout home page and a testimonial adds punch to the bottom of the page.

Old support site home page
Each of the networks GNOC supports followed this template. Colors and logos were swapped out for each network, but the layout, navigation, and nomenclature remained the same.

New support site home page
We used the colors from the network's logo to build a palette to harmonize with the main themes from the GNOC site. The map (shown as a mockup above) shows real-time network status on the mini-site's home page. Navigation was greatly simplified and nomclature updated to make the site easier to use.

Old support second-level navigation page
Tables of this sort were widely used in the old design. The color scheme and heavy lines make the difficult to read.

New support second-level navigation page
Our design turns the block table into a scannable list. Because these sites are bursting with information, it's critical for site design to get people to information quickly and simply. See below for table design.
  New table design
When tables are necessary, our design makes them clean and easy to read. Alternating column and row colors make it easy to find the information needed. Note also the sub-navigation in the left column. Unlike the original site design, new design allows visitors to navigate quickly and easily through the site.
