Cairril.com Design has received an American Graphic Design Award for the
logo it created for Detour Theatre Company, a Bloomington-based performance
troupe. The logo was created collaboratively by designer Jim Johnson and
owner/designer Cairril Mills.
The award recognizes excellence in design as part of a national competition
sponsored by Graphic Design USA magazine. The logo was selected from among
10,000 submissions.
“I’m thrilled to have our work recognized,” said Mills. “I’m
also excited that our client will receive greater visibility as well.”
The award-winning logo will be included in a magazine-format design annual
in December, and a subsequent hardcover edition published in 2005. It
may also be viewed in the portfolio section of the Cairril.com Design
Web site at http://www.cairril.com.
