Stage I
In honor of the onset of Autumn, we chose this leaf background pattern to go along with the wonderful stock photo of the crowned children.

Stage II
The leaf photo went behind the kids, and on top of another layer of textured color. We then adjusted effects on the leaf layer to create more of a background. But now our image is a little dead and lacks the spirit of "wonder" referred to in the quote.

Final
Still staying with our leaf layer, we made color adjustments to change it from dull orange to a more vibrant yellow and gold. We softened the edge of the photo by using a leaf-shaped brush that creates a wonderful pattern of small and large maple leaves in green. The shape of the overall green pattern and the shift in scale among the leaves adds dynamism to the image. It also adds the same touch of "magic" the the shape of a star does, without looking like a star! Lastly, we added the type in a rich egglant color, tucked in amongst all the foliage. The visual line of where the kids' faces meet leads down to the scarf, which drives the eye down to the type. Altogether a dynamic, inspirational message!
