Stage 1   Stage 2

Stage I
With Picasso endorsing the artistic merits of bad taste, one can only let oneself be swept up in a rushing current of eye-popping badness. We began with a magenta and green "quilt" designed to give a headache to anyone who looks at it too long. View at your own risk. Cheesy icons such as "Supersandwich" and "Alien Boy with Sack-o-Love" add to the bad.

Stage II
Alien Boy had to go due to space considerations (pun intended). We chose a '50s-era bowling font as our quintessential icon of bad taste. Supersandwich went stereophonic with color and "power lines" radiating from it. But this just isn't jarring enough, is it?

Here we go—we rotated the "quilt" background, stretched some boxes, and hacked at it haphazardly to create more "excitement." The yellow jagged background adds even more "energy." We felt compelled to attempt to make the type readable, so we changed the color. But! We added multiple colored layers so it would still look bad. Supersandwich got radioactive power lines to identify it even more closely with bad taste.

And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen: a tribute to breaking all the rules. Enjoy!
