Cairril.com wins national design award
We are pleased to announce that we received an American Graphic Design Award for Creative Sparks, a gift we created for prospective and current clients. A collection of VisoVerbo designs paired with pithy sayings describing our creative process, Creative Sparks was also designed to showcase our extensive experience in print. The piece incorporates beautiful irridescent papers, spot varnishes, and a variety of special processes such as die-cutting, emboss, banding, metallic inks, and foil stamping.

The AGDAs recognize excellence in design as part of a national competition sponsored by Graphic Design USA magazine. Creative Sparks, created in collaboration with writer extraordinaire Cathy Moore and printed by Bloomington's own Spectrum Press, was selected from among 10,000 submissions. The award-winning piece will be featured in a magazine-format design annual in December.

Cairril.com celebrates fifth anniversary
September 20th marked our fifth anniversary of creating smart design and marketing for Bloomington and beyond. Congratulations to client Aaron Stolberg of Wininger/Stolberg Group who won two tickets to Lotus Festival as part of our anniversary celebration!

Thanks to all of you for your support, good wishes, and continued business! We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to do what we love with great people for great causes! It's been a wonderful five years and we look forward to many more!

Hands of Love card available!
We regularly receive emails from people across the country who've come across our greeting card Hands of Love and want to know where they can order more.

The card is published and distributed by Sunrise Greetings. We've had a recent report from that Hands of Love is available at Wooden Key Hallmark in Bloomington. The card was created in the late '90s and features the hands of Cairril's mom cupping the hands of Cairril's sister Paula. The photo, printed on parchment paper in rich brown tones, is surrounded by a quote from Mother Teresa in bronze foil. Global Network Operations Center
The Global NOC at Indiana University (GNOC) is a premier provider of highly responsive network services that support the advancement of research and education networking. Having gained its reputation for its support of Internet2's Abilene network, the Global NOC has become an unrivaled provider of expert support for the most advanced research networks in the country.

GNOC Manager Jon-Paul Herron approached us to help upgrade GNOC's image to match its reputation. Its old website was outdated and contained no marketing information; its support websites for client networks were visually confusing and very difficult to use. In addition, because of its diverse global client base, GNOC's sites had to display and function correctly across as many browsers and platforms as possible.

Working with Jon-Paul's crack team of developers, we developed the GNOC web presence into a series of related mini-sites. The main GNOC site added a marketing component by communicating GNOC's unique capabilities. The client support websites were revamped primarily for site architecture and to carry through a brand connection with GNOC.

We brought the marketing website into line with industry standards, adding a high-tech image for the home page and revamping site architecture to make it easy to find each item. We helped develop the copy to present a professional and competent tone.

Our work on the client support sites was truly collaborative, as the amount of information delivered on each was very impressive! We completely overhauled how information was grouped, named, and presented, in order for site users to have the smoothest possible experience.

Having laid the groundwork for each type of site, we then turned files over to GNOC for them to adapt at will! The new sites will present a coherent look, provide flexibility for site-specific customization, be much easier to use by anyone around the world, and function as a highly effective marketing tool.
