TechExpo 2002 a success!
November 14th saw the launch of TechExpo
2002, an event co-sponsored by Cairril.com Design dedicated
to the technology needs of small businesses. It was a re-vamped
approach to previous technology conferences offered by the Chamber
of Commerce and Small Business Development Center, and the response
was very positive.
Our Web Smarts seminar on "making your site work for
you" was very well received and a lot of fun to do! See the
companion resource page.

Web Smarts: Driving Traffic to Your Site
coming Feb. 2003!
The third and final installment of our Web Smarts series is
coming up on 27 Feb. 2003. "Driving Traffic to Your Site"
will detail the many options site owners have to encourage targeted
site traffic. We'll touch on search engine strategies, but focus
mainly on e-mail newsletters, online ads, affiliate programs, linking
strategies, offline promotions, and more! This session, co-sponsored
by the Bloomington Small Business Development Center, will be held
in The STAR Center at 216 W. Allen. We'll have more on this upcoming
session in the January issue of Sparks. In the meantime, see our
new Web Smarts resource
page for an overview of the Web Smarts series and consultations.
