Looking for that perfect card for birthdays or just to send a note?
You can purchase cards designed by Cairril.com Design at area stores
which carry the Sunrise
brand. We've made a pass through a variety of Bloomington stores
to let you know which cards you can find in town. For those Sparks
readers outside Bloomington, you can purchase selected cards at
chains like Target, Barnes & Noble, Hallmark, and Office Depot.

How your site looks to the search engines
Ever wonder how a search engine spider (auto-indexing robot) works?
You can see what a spider "sees" by checking out the Sim
Spider Search Engine Robot Simulator at Search Engine World.
Just enter in your URL and see what the spider sees! Learn more

Free teleclass on e-zines
We have often plugged the work of marketing guru Robert
Middleton in our site and in Sparks. Robert recently teamed
up with Alexandria Brown, the "E-Zine Queen" to deliver
a free teleclass
on e-zines via RealAudio.
Be sure to check out Robert's free e-zine, More
Clients, for fantastic integrity-based marketing ideas. He also
offers a variety of other resources. We've been wowed by everything
we've seen from him—check it out!

Regency Management
Service, L.L.C.
Regency Management Service is an apartment management company
with properties in Champaign, Illinois and Bloomington and Evansville,
Indiana. Regency's existing web site was in need of a facelift in
order to meet the ever rising demand of web-based information from
their worldwide resident base.
After attending one of our Web Smarts seminars, Regional Supervisor
Sheila Kingsley hired us for a complete overhaul of the Regency site.
Working closely with Sheila and Regional Supervisor Kim Crouch, we
embarked on a six-month project where we re-worked the site from top
to bottom. When our analysis showed poor search engine performance,
we recommended splitting the site into four interrelated sites: one
for each city and one for the Regency home page. We created a fresh
and upscale design which more clearly positioned Regency in the marketplace,
improved functionality, added printer-friendly pages, and (with the
talents of programmers Robert Palmer and Chris Hyde) set up interactive
forms for online applications, payments, information requests, and
maintenance service requests.
The resulting sites have rocketed to the top of search engine results,
consistently placing in the top three slots for our main keywords.
Online applications and forms were put to use by site visitors within
hours of the site going live, with requests coming from as far afield
as Asia and India.
The Regency approach shows what a difference strategic thinking can
make. Check out the sites
