Web Smarts at Business Expo 2003
Here's another opportunity to learn how to get high rankings in
search engines: We're presenting Web
Smarts: Search Engine Strategies as a special workshop at Business
Expo 2003 at the Bloomington Convention Center on April 17th. The
workshop runs from 2:00 to 3:15 in the afternoon.
Business Expo is south-central Indiana's largest trade show, attracting
5000 visitors annually, and features workshops throughout the day
on topics of interest to business owners. Exhibits are open from
10 am to 7 pm.
This is a great opportunity to learn:
• How to get the best rankings in top search engines,
directories, and portals
• Pay-per-placement, pay-per-click, and linking: What it means
and how to use it
• Keywords: How to select, utilize, and bid on keywords for
maximum results
• How to track your results
• When you don't need to worry about your site's ranking
Registration is $20 and must be arranged in advance by phoning
the Small Busines Development Center at 812-339-8937. The Convention
Center is located at 3rd and College Streets in Bloomington. We
hope to see you there!

Wonderdisc
Wonderdisc is a Bloomington-based business providing CD duplication
services for musicians and bands. Previously named B-Town Disc,
Wonderdisc decided to change its name and upgrade its image in order
to compete more effectively in the national CD replication market.
We worked with fun and fabulous Creative Director Jason Wilber to
develop a new logo, print materials, and Web site for Wonderdisc,
as well as overall positioning of the business. The upgrade positions
Wonderdisc more effectively as a professional, high quality provider
of resources and services. The Web site, while detailing Wonderdisc's
offerings, also provides a wealth of articles and downloads for
musicians. Jason attended two of our Web Smarts seminars and has
taken our advice to heart, resulting in an effective site which
will perform much better in search engines and yield an improved
bottom line.
