Cairril.com Design and the Bloomington Small Business Development Center
present “Web Smarts,” an interactive seminar on developing
an effective Internet presence, on Thursday, May 2nd, from 3:00 to 4:30
pm at The STAR Center in Bloomington.
The seminar will explore how the Web differs from traditional advertising
media; how to use your site to attract visitors, cut costs, enhance services,
and achieve performance goals; how to hire Web designers and developers;
and how to estimate Web development costs.
The seminar is geared toward businesses, organizations, academic departments,
and anyone thinking seriously about a professional Web site. “We’ll
also cover strategies for people who have an existing site,” said
Cairril Mills, owner of Cairril.com Design and the seminar’s presenter.
“If your site isn’t making a significant, measurable contribution
to your organization’s financial health, this seminar is for you.”
Seating is limited; reserve your space before May 1st by phoning The STAR
center at 812-323-7827. Registration is $20 and includes light refreshments
and an information packet. For additional information about the seminar,
