BRAND DEVELOPMENTAs a new business incubator, inVenture needed an identity that attracted innovative startups in technology and life sciences. InVenture came to us for their brand name, tagline, initial positioning, and logo. The logo needed to be professional and a bit edgy but not too far “out there.” We began with a distinctive typeface. Dynamic “v” shapes break the boundaries of a slanted box, communicating both energy and stability. Overlapped letterforms and the strong brand red continue that feeling of energy while remaining strong enough to work well at all sizes and on a variety of media. The rhythm of the logo is echoed in the aural rhythm of the tagline, which sums up inVenture’s energizing approach. Within weeks of opening, inVenture was fully booked with tenants. We continue to consult with inVenture on marketing and media relations as it continues its growth.
